September Glossy Box Review

This is my first every Glossybox and I was so excited to to start with the September Maggie Li special addition rising stars box. The box is a beautiful mint green although its coming over a bit blue in the picture, the design is really cute, including shells and make-up. I have never heard of Maggie Li before but I've had a look on her website and she is a freelance illustrator from London, and she creates some amazing prints. So lets get on to the contents...

1. Lady Gaga Fame Fragrance:

I was a little sceptical when it was announced that Lady Gaga would be bringing out her own fragrance. I was expecting the scent to be really crazy and overpowering, but I have been very pleasantly surprised. The scent has some really deep sensual floral notes to it, it does seem a little strong when you first spray it but once it has settled down its a perfect evening fragrance and definitely one I will be purchasing once my tester has run out.

2. Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum and 5 Minutes Facial

This product claims to instantly reduce the appearance of frown lines and wrinkles. I have tried the product just to see what the texture was like and how it left my skin feeling but I can't really say much about how it reduces frown lines and wrinkles as I am only 21 so don't really have any. The smell and the texture of the snake serum is really nice and it left my skin feeling really soft and smooth.

3. Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream

I've never tried any balance me products before and was really pleased to find the wonder eye cream in my box. Unfortunately I wasn't overly impressed with this product, although the product did cover my dark circles quite well, I don't like the medical smell and I don't feel its as effective as some of the cheaper eye products out there. I will definitely be sticking to my Simple kind to eye roll on.

4. Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream

I love Body Shop products and was really excited to find the vitamin E moisture cream in my box as I've never tried it. I have really enjoyed using this product over the last few days it leaves my skin feeling really soft and moisturised and has a great price tag to at £9 for 50ml. I will definitely be buying this product once my sample has run out.

5. Biosilk Silk Therapy

I don't really know what to say about this product, it is described as "a light weight leave in treatment that helps moisturise and restructure your hair without heaviness". I've not used the product yet as there are no real instruction on how to use it, I'm not sure if I am supposed to put it in wet or dry hair?? but I am interested to see what results I get as I have really fine hair so have to be careful what products I use on my hair.

Overall I was impressed with my glossy box although it would have been nice to get a full size product.
