Thrify Gift Idea's

So It's my dads birthday on Wednesday and I didn't have a clue what to get him. I went shopping to Meadowhall and the only thing that caught my eye was a large jar of sweets in a little sweet emporium for £10. I thought it was a really good idea, as you could choose the mixture of sweets that went into it. I was just about to take the jar to the till when my boyfriend piped up and told me not to buy it as he thought it was a rip off, I wasn't in the mood to argue so I put the jar down and left the shop, but I'm glad he said something as It saved me quite a bit of money. We then trotted of to the pound shop and bought 4 bags of my dads favourite sweets, then went to Wilkinson's to buy a nice big glass pop top jar for only £3. So in total my homemade sweet jar came to just £7.00 and it was bigger than the one in the shop. Ive finished it of with a piece of ribbon from my craft kit, and i think it makes the perfect little gift for anyone.

What are your money saving gift ideas?

My First Onsie

Just a random fun post for you tonight. Yesterday i bought my very first onsie, Ive been looking for the perfect one for over a year now but its something I've not wanted to spend a lot of money on so it has been a real struggle to find one i like. I've never really been interested in the fleece type ones as i thought they would be far too warm, and feetie ones just aren't long enough in the body. So when i saw this one in Primark yesterday i got super excited.

I love the print and its so comfy without being too hot and a bargain at only £10.

OOTD - Maxed out

I was a bit of a later comer with the maxi dress trend. I have really struggled to find styles that suit me, the floaty chiffon type ones really don't look good on me all, i just end up looking frumpy. So when i found this maxi dress i fell in love, on the hanger it didn't look much, but i had a vision in my head of what i could make it into with a belt and a few other accessories, and this was the end result.

Dress - H & M - £7.99
Belt - H & M - £7.99
Hat - H & M - £7.99
Necklace - Newlook - £3.00
Chelsea Boots - Secret Sales - £16.99

I Would love to hear what sort of maxi dresses you've been liking

Finally I've got my blogger back up and running, I'm so excited as I've got so many ideas for posts.

It was probably about 2 weeks ago now when i went out with a few girlie's from work to celebrate some birthdays. We went to a brilliant Tex-Mex themed restaurant in Doncaster and then hit the town for a bit of a boogie.
