Skin Care Update

So I'm a little late on doing this update, but I haven't really felt like there is anything that impressive to tell you. My skin doesn't seem to have cleared up much but my skin feels very soft. I must confess though that I haven't fully stuck to my routine I have kind of neglected the Skintetica, which should have been my main focus as this was the spot control part of the routine. All this being said I promise to stick to my routine for the next week and update you with photo's and full reviews of each products.

Skin care help!!

A bit of a different post today, I'm having a bit of trouble with my skin at the moment, and I am thinking about trying a new skin care routine. I'm sorry these pictures aren't very pretty but I feel I need to show you the condition of my skin before my routine, so the results after 2 weeks of the routine can be compared.

As you can see from the pictures I have combination skin with large pours, and lots of blemishes and spots :( Its been something I have suffered with since my teens, I've tried most things from zinc tablets to face scrubs  and simply just drinking more water, but the truth is I am just useless at sticking to things. I try something for a week and if I don't see a significant difference I just stop, (stupid I know, results don't happen overnight).

I have a few products that I am going to stick with for two weeks and track the condition of my skin throughout.

1. Garnier pure self heating sauna mask
2. Skinetica
3. Garnier pure active cleanser
4. Garnier pure active moisturiser

I don't really want to go into too much detail about the products that I'm going to use at the moment as I want to talk more in depth about them in my next post.

Keep a look out for my 1 week follow up post

Do you have bad skin and how do you cope with it?

Saturday night OOTN for pearshaped figure

So I went out in town last night with a few friends and finally got chance to wear my red Asos dress which was featured in my Asos haul video. I really love this dress and think it is so flattering on my pear shaped figure. the off the shoulder top half broadens my shoulders to put them more in proportion to my hips, and the skater bottom skims my hips and hides my thighs

The out fit
- Dress - Asos
- Belt - Newlook
- Hat - H&M
-Boots - Newlook
- Jewellery - Mixed

Make-up
- The same as in my get ready with me video but with the new lip butter colour watermelon
I had a really good night in town and didn't get too drunk either, so no hangover this morning!!

What body shape are you and how to dress for your shape?

My Mini Benefit Collection

Sorry I haven't posted for a while I've been a little busy. But I thought I would share with you my benefit makeup collection. I've only recently started using benefit products but really love them so I'm pretty sure it will be a brand I stick with in the future.

All these products were bought over 3 trips and a couple of the items were actually free!

1. World famous neutrals - Eyenessa's most glamorous nudes ever

Beautiful book like packaging

The inside consists of 2 cream shadows and 4 powders

From left to right powder shadows 1. Call my bluff 2. Kiss me I'm tipsy 3. It's complicated 4. Gilt-y pleasure

From left to right cream shadows 1. My two cents 2. Birthday suit

As you can see from the swatches all the colours are really soft and shimmery perfect for a subtle smokey eye. Also this set is a great price at £25

2. Coralista Blush

This was my second benefit purchase and something i had been looking at for a while. I must say I wasn't that impressed with this at first as its not as pigmented as I expected, but I'm learning to love this subtle shimmering coral.

All in all I think this product was rather expensive at £23 but I'm sure it will last me a long time as a day to day blush

3. It's Potent eye cream

This product came free when I purchased 2 or more benefit products from boots. If I'm honest I'm glad I didn't have to pay for this product, although I like the smell and texture I can't say that it really does anything.

4. Erase paste

This product also came free with the first two of my purchases, and I must say that I am absolutely in love with this product, it gives so much coverage and is really long lasting. This product is lovely and thick and covers most spots and blemishes perfectly, will definitely be repurchasing when this has runs out.

5. Getting Cheeky Set

The cute little set was only £14.99 and has miniature versions of posie tint, sun beam and chacha tint. They are all the size you would expect to get in the little gift boxes. I'm really loving the sunbeam and starting to love the tints now I've got used to blending them quickly.

From left to right 1. Posie Tint 2. Sun Beam 3.Cha Cha Tint

All in all i really like these tints and may have to buy the larger versions when they have run out.

6. Whats Up! Highlighter

This is a really nice stick highlighter with gold tones which is great for warmer skin tones. Under the silver cap is a stick highlighter and at the other end is a soft blender to give a more even finish. I find this so easy to use, but it doesn't come cheap, I cant remember the price exactly but i think it was around the £25 mark

7. They're Real mascara

This is fast becoming one of my favourite mascara's, its volumising and lengthening yet still leaves your lashes with a natural look. I never used to like plastic mascara wands but now when I look at my mascara collection they all have plastic wands. I caught this mascara while it was on a special deal with a free miniature size mascara so I got both for £19.50 Bargain!

I would love to hear what you think on benefit makeup and what your favourite products are

Thrify Gift Idea's

So It's my dads birthday on Wednesday and I didn't have a clue what to get him. I went shopping to Meadowhall and the only thing that caught my eye was a large jar of sweets in a little sweet emporium for £10. I thought it was a really good idea, as you could choose the mixture of sweets that went into it. I was just about to take the jar to the till when my boyfriend piped up and told me not to buy it as he thought it was a rip off, I wasn't in the mood to argue so I put the jar down and left the shop, but I'm glad he said something as It saved me quite a bit of money. We then trotted of to the pound shop and bought 4 bags of my dads favourite sweets, then went to Wilkinson's to buy a nice big glass pop top jar for only £3. So in total my homemade sweet jar came to just £7.00 and it was bigger than the one in the shop. Ive finished it of with a piece of ribbon from my craft kit, and i think it makes the perfect little gift for anyone.

What are your money saving gift ideas?

My First Onsie

Just a random fun post for you tonight. Yesterday i bought my very first onsie, Ive been looking for the perfect one for over a year now but its something I've not wanted to spend a lot of money on so it has been a real struggle to find one i like. I've never really been interested in the fleece type ones as i thought they would be far too warm, and feetie ones just aren't long enough in the body. So when i saw this one in Primark yesterday i got super excited.

I love the print and its so comfy without being too hot and a bargain at only £10.
